Friends of All Saints Completes CPR, Stop the Bleed, and Narcan Training
In February 2026, members of Friends of All Saints joined the All Saints Episcopal Camp and Retreat Center staff for an important safety training focused on emergency preparedness. Together, we completed certifications in CPR/Heart Smart, Stop the Bleed, and Narcan administration.
These trainings equip our team with the knowledge and confidence to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations. From recognizing cardiac events to responding to severe bleeding or opioid overdose, the skills we learned help ensure that All Saints remains a safe and supportive environment for everyone who visits.
We’re especially grateful to Brandy Holderman, All Saints’ Assistant Director, for securing a grant that made it possible to add a second AED (Automated External Defibrillator) on site. This additional equipment strengthens our ability to respond in critical moments and further supports the safety of campers, retreat guests, and staff.
Thank you as well to the All Saints team for inviting Friends of All Saints to participate in the training. Opportunities like this strengthen our partnership and help us work together toward a shared goal: creating a safe, welcoming place for all who come to All Saints.
Preparedness matters—especially for the youth, families, and community members who gather here throughout the year. We’re proud to continue investing in the well-being of every guest who walks through the doors of All Saints.
